Of Gemini's Hares and Jones’s Graces,..

As the tortoise was personification of tauren qualities, it follows that the hare is the epitome of geminian traits. That neighbourly confidence trickster with an ever beady eye on their peers interests and routines. That bastion of social history ever trying to hoodwink his forest friends of their own natural values.

The fact is that geminians can be considered pretty insecure in that they have to constantly check in with their peers to make sure they’re still on the cool end of loop. So as such, much on the Gemini plate is about social peergroup impressions and maintaining some sort of status quo. However witty, sharp or agile they appear, at the back end, all the attention is for apparent social gains or keeping the peerage in some sort of line that they don’t feel too insecure. Now Gemini is classically the zone of siblings, peer groups, colleagues and neighbors. If there was a zodiac sign for WiFi or Bluetooth or the internet, it would most definitely fall on the socialite air sign trilogy of Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. Gemini as such would be the historic logging function, so blogs even would be Geminian in that they are historic in social format.

Lets step across to analogy to explain the Gemini situation further. Brother and sister are in the family car on a trip to a far away city for the holidays with the parents. The whole way there they are gawking out the window making fun of the other cultures they see along the way. Big brother goes overseas, now this is the opposite signs, Sagittarian type broader cultural experience, domain. He goes over and wow, the world splits wide open for him. On his return he climbs back in the family car for their yearly trip. Dare I say, brother and sister are again poking fun out the window but big brother is more silent than usual. Wow, how small minded he realizes he has been as he watches the siblings gawking and commenting as before. Dare he try to enlighten his brethren for odds are he will simply get teased back into the quiet seat. Regularly then the generalized Gemini archtype is packed full of quips that keep the neighbourly world view intact. They may branch out a little in life, but seldom will the whole picture change beyond defending the sibling notions of a small cosy home meadow. Just like a bunny, most other ideas initially feel threatening to the sibling oriented persona, such threats of course urge them keep the other forest friends in line more often than not.

The natural sibling crisis really needs to be given the respect it is due I find as I see more and more clients though my days. In nature fledglings of many species will actually kick the other out the nest if there is any opportunity or threat in the pecking order. Yes, to die! Hence simple ‘sibling rivalry’ actually very much arouses the need for all the quick thinking, the wit, the verbal agility they seem to bear. I don’t see it as too much fun really as nervous ailments of all sorts come through this peerage complex. As such, strong Geminian’s are hard to fall in love with for all the historic social concerns they seem to harbour and express during their every day. So much apparent goalpost shifting as they try to keep due course is bound to give one motion sickness in tryng to keep up. For them too, love comes hard seeing as the mob rules and ones emotions can go a begging as its down to survival of the fittest.

All of this is rather obvious amongst our kids peer groups at school where everything is relative to the shifting tides of the peerage. Gemini is said to be ‘the curse of the split mind’ they say and flocking to the symbols of ‘cool’ in order to prop up ones self worth and ego identity can jar the neck some. Slapping labels onto themselves faster than an apache on horseback. I used to quip when I was younger how most kids one see’s with the skateboard in hand for instance. They do seem to carry them around a lot don’t they, hardly ever to be seen actually riding the dang things. Well exactly that, for these are in fact symbols of their attempts at peer status, social leverage mechanisms for their flailing self worth. Indeed these kids should probably have counseling regards how to be themselves and damn that peerage. We can see how Gemini, Taurus and Aries themes are all concerns involved in the Geminian plot. This does bring up an interesting point though, ideas of pattern and character recognition. The basic underlying intelligence mechanisms that Gemini represents in the zodiac whole. Such explains how Gemini’s can be so flamboyant in their affections one day yet so uninterested the next. The true power of symbols is found in this sign, however basic or subtle, if its on you it alludes to something deeper, this is then where Cancerian depths fit in.

Having just completed a local fun run this weekend I came upon such similar hare style observations as the basic driving force between the youngsters seemed to focus around their relationship to each other in the race. The race is obviously analogous to life and the jousting for position unfortunately the feature where folks care not for themselves really but for their position relative to the others. This then shoots further to the whole as to how in a Geminian world, the truth too is rather relative. Relative to whomever is present at the time really, it can be that bad. Unfortunately then yes, the award for the cheapest and tackiest of the zodiac members would definitely level on Gemini, cursed with such vexatious mind.

Let me reiterate here perhaps as readers at times allude to my scathing manner or tone, but as such we are being frank here and in talking about the nature of neighbors. Might i mention the seriousness of Xenophobia which harbours all these basic issues I mention above. Neighbors and instantaneous symbolic character recognition, I’m in, you’re out, and yes, that immediately aroused vexation. Scorpio is 6th to Gemini which is as such the nature of Geminian bodylanguage, Scorpio being the sign of death where ‘still waters run deep’.

Regards the latent anxiety i mention with classic Geminian health concerns, Eczema on the hands, arms and face being the key token symptom thereof. From asthma to stuttering and this ADD/ADHD concern floating about nowadays smells very much like it. Little did we know how the Hare was our first archetype of the ADD personality. Notice how this ailing comes at a time when there is television everywhere with adverts streaming 24/7. Who are our children supposed to be? Certainly not themselves at this rate? No wonder they’re all skittish and difficult most of the time.
