Moms on the move,… [Aug10 – 24 Edition]

So what do we look for on the ground considering Jupiter's movements? Mothers - in their collective form or in the personal family capacity. Over the past two years, moms have been through some great transformations. There are some that may be lagging in fulfilling these, but I think we have arrived at another big push here.
There could have been a mini-revolution back home over the last four months, and the transformation in mum’s world should be imminent now. If anything then, August month is mothers push month!

LOOKING into the night sky one big feature is the big bright star right above us after sunset for the next while, it has the Milky Way as a backdrop. Take a closer look at this guy through a pair of binoculars, you will see smaller lights off the side of it, those are actually moons and that star is the huge planet, Jupiter.
The red star near Jupiter is a very different star indeed, a class M supergiant star, with a diameter of approximately 700 times our sun. If Antares were placed in the centre of our solar system, its outer surface would extend between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter.
Antares, the Alpha star of Scorpio [aka:Scorchio], so as you pan out you will see the Scorpion constellation. Antares is the heart of the Scorpion.
Along with Venus near Regulus, we sure do have some big stars in the news of late.
The Lion and the Scorpion, you could expect some difficult bickering going on between these two! The next time we will see Jupiter in this position is in 12 years time. After Saturn, Jupiter is the next longest visible orbiting planet we have - the Mum and Dad of our Solar System.
So what do we look for on the ground considering Jupiter's movements? Mothers - in their collective form or in the personal family capacity. Over the past two years, moms have been through some great transformations. There are some that may be lagging in fulfilling these, but I think we have arrived at another big push here.

Initially, mom’s new schedule could have brought in a little extra competition with dad regarding family priorities, but she does need to pick up on her own speed, for dad is experiencing his own issues. Jupiter of this last year has brought in the long distance element in mum’s life -the lengths to which she has had to go to re-invent herself and the distance needed for her to see clarity.
The issues I see here are of forgetfulness. Modern life tends to reduce the real pressing issues around us, daily routine and comforts are our anaesthesia.
In 2005, on seeing these upcoming turmoil's in mom's world, astrologers cautioned how, if Mothers didn't embrace the changes, they could expect illness befalling them a little further on down the road. For the emotional anxiety she has had to bear, without release, there is surely the residue of resentment left upon the physical body. Don't forget the past so easily. Pay respects to your tears before your physiology is left to suffer. Twelve years is a long time to wait for such opportunities to return. We see this reflected in the mass of divorce issues of the last two years, August could really be the final push.
So watch what you do with your emotional poisons, and determination based upon the wrong principles. Don't fight for that which you cannot defend, sometimes we just have to stand by and witness.
We mentioned Zimbabwe and the strikes in South Africa in the last edition. As you can see, this issue is obviously still with us. It is not my place to stir up too much in this column. Short of me yelling panic!
Do us a favour though, if the signs are blinking all around you, divert what you can see approaching by taking responsibility for its presence. We are all human here. In a modern ethos based on handing responsibilities over to "service providers" impersonalising our very personal needs, we eventually separate from ourselves even.
In Africa should we not be more weary of accepting impersonal Western standards? Treating ones fellow as yourself [should] be one of the primary commandments, and taking responsibility for your own trash could be the defining clause we are all going to wake up to.
Until next time.
