Of Arian Optimism,...
Next up in our skip
through the zodiac is the sign Aries. These are fairly quirky rants perhaps,
but very common issues we note whilst dealing with Arian clients.
Now
Arians are the chief archetype of the fiery elemental group, and so we may as
well be chatting about Leo and Sagittarius to some degree here too. A real
inside tip that I have been eyeing for some time is regards thoughts on
optimism and the apparently ‘innocent’ notion of being optimistic. Sagittarius
could be the one out here as they do have that much more foresight to aid them.
Fire
signs are born to be optimistic. That new shoot of spring coming into the
world, it’s a fabulous sunny environment, what could possibly go wrong? Now one
of the first things one has to remember is how fire signs are all about drive
and energy, they have to be physically active. It’s plausibly all they know or
care for. If you don’t join in, you are labeled as lazy and cast off to the
side as they busy themselves throughout their day. Much like a fire really,
darting about here and there consuming matter as they do so, to stop is to
extinguish forever and what threat could be worse?
The
one thing fire signs battle with however is planning. Like the fire that burns across
the grassland, little does it realize its resources will sooner or later fizzle
out. So as such, dare you mention planning or efficiency issues to the Arian!
As I jest, their first retort would be, “Well, I don’t see you getting your
hands dirty now do i!?” The quality that fire symbolizes for mankind is said to
be that of purity. We burn things all through antiquity to purge the lower
earthly qualities. So the fire sign always manages to convince everyone that
their cause is gallant, noble and pure. This is core to what they themselves
believe and is very probably the front-end rationale of what you would see of
them approaching. When things go wrong for the fire sign, they curse the
situation for they merely had pure noble intentions and are surprised when the
world does not reciprocate this innocence.
What
I’m getting at here is that blind optimism is exactly that, akin to stumbling
around in the dark perhaps? When we mention optimism and hope, it should be
that we are optimistic that our “plans” are going to work out. As regularly one
decides on a project, sees all the ins and outs involved, makes preparations
and watches out for those potential issues that could arise. Hence, when we
have a basic plan we can then “hope” all will run smoothly, “according to plan”.
My
point is that hope and optimism are concepts that follow the root act of
planning. This Arian/Fire sign trait of innocent, noble ambition that the
universe will reflect one’s purity is honestly just plain childish at times. If
one thought Water signs were dreamers, welcome to their closest compatriots, the
intuitive fire type. I get it all the time. “But my intention was pure!” So
what quite frankly, get organized and hope your organization can handle the
bumps that are sure to follow. Have a back-up plan, don’t just ram yourself at
it again and again.
This
situation is becoming quite obvious here in the fresh-off-the-shelf South
African “Rainbow Nation” where you have all these effervescent sparkly eyed folk
hoping that ... ‘hoping’ that what? As most folks surely can see, the plans are
already falling far short of their mark. Yet there is still this blind wanton
optimism roaming folk’s hearts, possibly I’m assuming, one of the most
irrational of human traits as it apparently overrides all logic. As it only
brings us to the door of reality sooner or later with a resounding thud, ‘Oh my
word, we have run out of resource, what now!?’
And
as I say, the frustration you can hear in my text is that when you confront
this optimistic sort, the first retort you get is, “Well I don’t see you trying
very hard!” I don’t waste my energies on badly planned/managed projects, so no,
I am obviously not forwarding my valuable resource at this point. Then the
second retort wails in, “At least I can believe,” in what one asks further,
mismanagement of valuable resources? This is very much in line with the grandiose
nobility of their effort that fire signs pander in attempting to string along
fellow enthused participants.
The
obvious tip for any fire signs and obviously Arians then being to plan well ahead!
