Eclipse Season 2009
Hi folks, back with another star studded line up.
First off lets announce a Astronomical/Astrological gathering hosted by the Drummond Conservancy on the 25th July from 18h30 to 20h00 The venue/hillside is on the R103 just beyond the 1000 Hills Hotel on the right heading out from Hillcrest, you wont miss us if you are passing by. I will be the guest speaker and will discuss topics across the board so bring your telescopes and questions regards our great cosmos we live in.
To this weeks topic, eclipses are on everyones lips again. Bizarre how many folks get the news wrong. Three eclipses in one day i’ve heard floating about. Physically not possible folks. What is possible and i will explain how it all works. There is a plane as such, that when SUn Moon and Earth are all in this plane. If a new/full moon occurs, yes then there will be an eclipse. We track this plane by certain Nodes called the lunar nodes. This node takes 19yr’s to rotate once around the zodiac. Hence we have similar eclipses on a 19yr cycle.
Then, every 6 months as the sun moves past either side of this node/plane in space. Obviously if there is a new or full moon, there will be an eclipse.
Generally, if the Sun Moon action is within 19 degrees of this node, there will be an eclipse. In most cases you get two eclipses per passing. A solar and a lunar or a lunar and a solar. This time around and well possibly 19yrs ago. We have it that the first full moon is 19 degrees away from the node,. the new moon is directly on the node and the next full moon being 19 degrees past the node, so hence, tight as a whisp, this is all making for two lunar and one solar eclipse all in the space of +- 30days. Fantastic.
What does that mean for us mere earthlings here on the ground floor? More stress basically! More fear of being e’clip’sed out of the picture really. So it can be any picture, me and my hubby, me and my colleagues, me and my boss, me and my friends etc etc. Any working scenario where there are more than one players vying for position. This brings ‘knee jerk’ actions to the fore where folk tend to act a tad ravenous in getting at what they perceive they want and or need.
The key word there is ‘perceived’ and the certain type candidate that regularly falls for such in this period is the shock victim and/or those who had a difficult birth. Other than that, if you are wily enough you will be able to see how it is just an illusion and really, there may be no need whatsoever to call out the cavalry.
By the backdrop of what we have been seeing prior what with fraudulent economies falling on their faces, one can imagine the infighting then that will be going on this month. Surely most persons feel on the verge of being ‘clipped’ of late, hence yes, take it easy. Also regards larger decisions then,. work plainly with the ‘perceived’ part of the spectrum. Yes i perceive such as a threat, but is that not actually the easy way out here. Of course i am always under threat and only because i am so sharp in closing doors am i here to tell the tale. Surely not, such is like a self fulfilling prophecy. Time will tell and surely time will one day tell of all those sketchy reasons for the shifts in your life. Take your time and try do things differently to the regular approach you always wield.
Where there are strong feelings, there is often another plot urging you to feel so strongly, a memory of the last time around. So yes, don’t act on feelings here, act on decent rationale.

Am I getting this correctly - eclipses are actually not that significant astrologically?
You mentioned them being just and illusion, but then surely one could consider a retrograde to also be just an illusion?
Hi there, Great query,..
You know, once on a farm we stayed on i observed an eclipse to the Hour. The Farmers tractor caught alight that hour, at no time else in our years there had the Tractor caught alight. So, well, observable phenomena logged with regards.
I will say though,.. All Astrology is illusory,.. Take the world of body language for example,.. I am chatting with frineds and i get a jist from someone that they don't like me etc etc, from their mannerisms and tone,..
A:) i respond as if i believe the input just received,..
B:) i don't respond at all to the signals,.
C:) i manage my response based on good composure and understanding regards the 'apparentness' of it all,..
These days i prefer C,... Why? because as with your Retro query,. If it is around us,.. even visibly in our world,.. I have to 'Believe' it for it to make an impression on me and whell up a response,.. So what i try is to quarantine all incoming signals in like a 'pre' bay,.. So i can feel what secondary responses it brings up in me,. then i can manage those,. i.e. keep the two charges separate,. signal/response,..
Then as such there is not that magnetic pull to immediately apply response to the signal,..
I can then apply the moderated response to the scenario at the right pace,..
Further,.. Retrogrades[or all astrological phenomena] are not illusory in that we can see their effects on the ground plain,..
It is our belief in the feelings they stir up that is the illusory bit,. there is where our control lies,..
