Our Mother - the Moon,., the Art of Astrology"/>

Our Mother - the Moon,.

Just as the Sun has yearly fluctuations, the Moon has monthly fluctuations. The Suns fluctuation through the year is well visible in the seasons, with the Moon it is less obvious.
Probably the best humanistic example is observing the last three days of any Moon cycle, watch these routinely and regularly i have noticed a “rushing toward the exits” sort of behaviour. Akin to closing any sort of cycle, the day or the month, regularly there are things that we need to finish up, this is the sort of behaviour one readily finds on the run in to new Moon.

Back to the basic topic though, the lesser fluctuation as we shall call her. Now understand all the Sun really is then is one massive radio transmitter, the biggest we know of in fact. So as such, with this being the long term fluctuation of radio signal from the Sun. The Moon, as she reflects his beauty, waxes and wanes through the seasons. A hot summers full Moon night, natures chorus celebrating the light. A winters new Moon say, could be the darkest, coldest experience in a long while.
So as such the Moon modulates the greater Solar pulse,..
Now this may seem hard to understand, but really, think of radio signal moving in and out of good clear reception, the long tone shifts are as the Suns fluctuations say, the short, noisy fluctuations are as the Moons.

It really is all about noise and excitement here on Earth. Radiation stirring our very cells into being, light beings from plants to fish, all celebrating the same basic feature, Light/Radiation.

Secondary to the analogies above, the Moon who as such rules the waters, indeed really does. Fancy that, folk lore that really works. The tides then point closer to the fact that our waters seem to fluctuate on a Moonthly basis, our moods and very water base. Blood flows more readily over full and new Moons, kn ow this when booking operations.

As such, we, in our inner psyches, experience this as levels of observation over our inner waters, observation of our deep seated feelings. Full Moon characters have a brighter night in their worlds than new Moon characters for instance. Hence they come with a little more reasoning power than other Moon phase folk. Well that is the real depth of the concept behind the Moon in our personal lives.

On lighter notes, typical Moonly pander is the motherly kind, the nurturing of the body through fluctuating the handing out of care. The body and the family fits in here too, its needs are not the same at all times of the day, care is not always available or assured, hence a cycle has to be strung up. Where the archetypal 'mother' and 'father time' meet, is in the wisdom of fluctuating the giving of nourishment through the course of time. This is getting deep here, but it too speaks of how her sickle is known for death and loss in our lives.
The Moon becomes the regular giver in our lives, the one who translates the light of the Sun for us.
As if the Sun was a pot of gold and the Moon the regular dispenser. The Red Cross's symbol epitomises this, white circle, the Moon reflecting the red cross, the Sun.

How this becomes a danger in our regular lives is through the control/manipulation of dispensing, here we arrive at the dark mother images of emotional control through dependency.

The last point of valuable interest is how in the Stellar setup, the faster body is the female, the slower, the male. As in the Sun and Moon, the Sun is the long term provider and stabiliser, the Moon is the short term distributor of his fruits as such. In this and with the other planets as we voyage outward one will see, the folks who make the most noise aren't always those in control. The stellar arrangement points to how in life it is he who holds himself the most composed that ultimately steers the show. We see this in the early family arrangement although this is being shot by the feminist movement. A good example is of a bank manager say. you don't see her/him that often do you? Nor the president, regularly though one see's the dispenser of their orders, the ministers and floor staff. This is the philosophy of the skies. The Sun and the Moon being our first example of such.
